Walter Drew McCaw (b. Feb. 10, 1863, Richmond, Virginia-d. July 7, 1939), Brigadier General and Assistant Surgeon General, U.S.A., graduated from medical school and began his military career in 1884. He served in the campaign of Santiago de Cuba and in the Philippines, and later became chief surgeon, Division of the Philippines, and chief surgeon, American Expeditionary Forces in 1918 and 1919.
